'Dance in the Park' is coming to Orleans House Gallery this week, offering free diverse dance and wellbeing classes for all age groups.

Starting on Wednesday and lasting until Sunday, there is a series of classes, each half an hour long, which run from 10am to 3.30pm.

This event is being put on by the community dance organisation, DanceWest, whose mission is to 'encourage everyone to participate in dance'.

There is a wide variety of different classes offered to residents, including Salsa dancing, Hip Hop for all ages, and Jazz.

The event caters to all the family with certain classes like the 'Hungry Caterpillar dance" aimed at 2-5 year olds and the 'Lion King' theatre class for 4-11 year olds.

There are also more health and wellbeing oriented events, including yoga for all ages, and a Zumba Gold class aimed at those age 55 and over.

These classes are all free and can be booked here.

There are allocated spots for those that would rather show up on the day but it is recommend to book in advance to ensure a slot.

The classes are all taking place on the grass directly in front of the Orleans House Gallery building, so be sure to dress for the outside weather.
