A popular Lebanese café in Twickenham has applied for a new premises licence to sell alcohol and extend its weekend opening hours.

Shatain Café, at 41 Heath Road, has submitted an application to supply alcohol both inside and outside the shop from Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm, and Friday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm.

It also wishes to remain open to customers during the same times.

According to its website, the café currently operates Monday to Sunday, 8am to 5pm.

The closing date for representations on the premises licence is Sunday, 12 October.
