Eel Pie Records is appealing for local support to help finance the 2021 edition of the 'High Tide Festival'.
The festival ran once before in 2019 and was a huge success with attendees describing it as "the best thing to happen in Twickenham for decades".
After having to skip a year due to lockdown restrictions the festival is back with a bang.
It promises: "High Tide will again be a brilliant day of top quality musical entertainment spread over an expanded 10 performance areas."
It will include nationally known artists like The Desmond Dekker Band featuring. Delroy Williams, Binker Golding, Stick In The Wheel, Deschanel Gordon and Salad.
Local talents will also be represented through young artists curated by The Basement Door youth charity.
The organisers have secured significant commercial sponsorship from local businesses, the Council and Discover Twickenham BID. But they need to double up on this and are calling on lovers of live music to help make it happen.
The money will go primarily to pay the artists but will also contribute to staging and PAs
The organisers said: "It will be a day for the community to come together to smile, dance and enjoy great music. And let's face it, we all need more of that after the last 18 months."
Local brewers CTZN Brewhouse will be supplying a special High Tide Ale for the day. There will also be street food and speciality drinks stalls.
So far £5,600 has been raised of the £8,000 target. If you wish to contribute you can do so here.
