Beaumont House Day Nursery in Twickenham has introduced a range of new curriculum clubs, which will be showcased to prospective parents as part of an official open week to be held this month.
Interested parents who live in and commute to Twickenham will be invited into the setting on Heath Road from 19-24 June to discuss the new curriculum opportunities and see more of what's on offer to children aged 12 weeks to five years.
The daily clubs have been introduced to enhance the educational opportunities already on offer to children. Clubs include nature, art, fitness, science and life skills – which can range from learning a new language, to cooking, or preparing the children for school.
Designed and led by the group's qualified teams of practitioners, the clubs rotate on a five-week rolling plan, and have been created to support each stage and age of development while introducing the EYFS curriculum in new and interesting ways: to ensure all children attending the setting benefit from what's on offer.
Activities range in length and style, and change weekly – and include everything from sensory elements and messy play, to physical activities designed to strengthen fine and gross motor skills, as well as activities which promote health and well-being, to name but a few.
Chief Operating Officer for CC Nurseries Group, Anita Wilden who joined the company in January 2023 said: "We are excited to officially launch our curriculum clubs to new parents as part of our Summer Open Week.
"There is a real focus on children being able to learn and search together; encouraging a hands-on approach to learning. The clubs have already been well received by our current families and have been specially designed to enhance the development, culture and well-being of our children and families.
"Our priority as ever is to nurture and protect the health and well-being of our children and the addition of these expertly-led and planned activities will support and enhance what's already available to each child."
"Parents are encouraged to join us across the week at our planned open events. We look forward to meeting new families."
Those interested in attending across the week will also be able to benefit from exclusive offers – including a month off paying fees in December '23 if parents enrol their child during open week, and begin at the setting before 4 September.
Beaumont House Day Nursery in Twickenham is part of the CC Nurseries Group which provides inspirational Early Childhood Learning and Care to nearing 800 families in settings across England and Scotland.
