South Twickenham police recently tweeted about a drugs bust operation that they had assisted our local Heathfield police with last week:

"Last Thursday, 25th February we assisted @MPSHeathfield with a search warrant for drugs."

They went on to reveal that "a quantity of drugs, weapons and firearms were seized!"

Heathfield police called the operation a 'big job', crediting officers from Heathfield and South Twickenham, as well as policing teams for West Twickenham, St Margarets and South Richmond.

South Twickenham police also acknowledged the aid of Kew police, the Met Taskforce dogs unit and Twickenham's probationary training unit.

Heathfield police also divulged that when they executed their search warrant last week, "nunchucks, a baton and a sword [were] taken off the streets! #SayNoToDrugs"

More on this story as it develops.
