Twickenham restaurant applies for new licence to serve alcohol in courtyard

A family-run Portuguese restaurant in Twickenham has submitted a new premises licence application to allow customers to drink in its courtyard.
Stella's Grill House & Bar, located on Powder Mill Lane, is seeking permission to sell alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises. Currently, alcohol sales are permitted only inside the restaurant.
If approved, the new licence would allow the sale of alcohol on and off the premises seven days a week from 12pm to 11pm.
The proposed opening hours of the premises would remain unchanged from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 11pm.
Those wishing to comment can do so by submitting a representation to Richmond Council's licensing department referencing application WK/202505195.
The proposals are currently under review by Richmond Council, with the public consultation period open until Monday, 4 August 2025.
