Richmond Council's licensing team is yet to decide whether or not to approve Masaniello's application to install an outdoor dining area during its operating hours.
The Church Street restaurant wishes to put wooden tables, plastic chairs and a parasol across a total area of 16,38 square metres.
In its application, Masaniello said: "The part is in front of the Restaurant, pedestrian church street, between the wall and the double yellow line, and property next door 21 church street as is temporary closed and unused we were given autorization from the landlord to use the space in front of them till they will open."
Masaniello trades from Monday to Tuesday, 5pm to 10.30pm and Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 10.30pm.
