Twickenham road closed for Thames Water sewer repairs

A road in Twickenham has been closed to allow emergency repairs to a large sewer main.

Hill View Road is currently closed near the junction with Moor Mead Road.

Richmond Council said the closure is in place to allow Thames Water to carry out repairs to the sewer main.

As a result, a local diversion is in place while the work takes place.

The Council said the works are currently estimated to be completed by 30 September 2026.

Motorists are advised to follow the diversion route and allow extra time for their journeys.
