Twickenham's Exchange Theatre looks set for a busy few weeks, with a host of events on this month and in May.
Ranging from classical music to stand-up gigs, there is a gamut of culture on offer. For tickets and more information follow the red links or visit The Exchange Theatre website.
On Friday 19 April, a documentary on folk rock duo Indigo Girls It's Only Life After All shows at the theatre. As the organisers write: "The story of the classic lesbian duo the Indigo Girls is told with humour and heart, through a blend of archival materia
l and camcorder footage shot by Amy Ray herself."
There will be an LGBT drinks reception prior to the screening (7pm, Friday 19 April).
On Thursday 25 April, the theatre will host this month's Baby Cinema, where parents can enjoy a film with their little ones, in the company of other parents. The age cap is 15 months, making it an excellent way to spend parental leave or a spare morning with your baby.
This month's film is Anatomy of a Fall - tickets are £5, or £10 with cake and coffee! (9am coffee and cake, 10am showing, Thursday 25 April).
On the same evening, Ria Lina will take to the stage for her show Riawakening. Ria tackles "the issues of coming out of a global pandemic, the new normal, divorce, dating in a new digital world, motherhood and what it really means to be a woman today". (7.30pm, Thursday 25 April)
The weekend of 27 April will see the return of the Saturday Film Cub, this time with a showing of Wonka. General admission is £5, or £16 for a family of four (two adults, two children, or one adult and three children, 11am, Saturday 27 April)
On Friday 10 May violinist Ariana Kim and classical guitarist Michael Poll will perform works from Bach, Paganini and Piazzolla in a special performance which - in the words of the organisers - " soars through time and traverses the emotional spectrum".
On the next day there will be an emotive and humorous performance of The Freshwater Five. Inspired by the popular Guardian Today in Focus podcast, The Freshwater Five, the story follows five fishermen who were sentenced to a total of 104 years for conspiracy to import £53m worth of cocaine. They have always professed their innocence. (7.30pm, Saturday 11 May)
On Wednesday 15 May, a 'bring your own baby' comedy show will take place. Expect grown-up comedy, but with babies allowed. Just like the baby cinema, this is an excellent way for parents to enjoy grown-up things in the company of their youngsters.
Each show features two brilliant comedians plus a compere, and the whole show will last approximately 75 minutes including an interval. (12pm midday, Wednesday 15 May).
Last but not least, on Thursday 16 May, a tribute to George Harrison's music will show. A celebration of the quiet Beatle, this performance showcases Harrison's solo work, and his work with the Fab Four, The Travelling Wilburys and more.
During this show, talented musicians perform some of George's best-known tracks. (7.30pm, Thursday 16 May)
