A Twickenham chippy has closed for service temporarily as a result of "unforeseen circumstances".

In a sign outside the eatery, Riverside Fish & Chips said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, our shop will be closed on Tuesday (27 October), Wednesday and Thursday.

"We will reopen as normal on Friday.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding and continued support."
