It's your last chance to see what has been a virtual sell-out season of Cinderella, starring Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke.

Just a few seats are available for shows on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, when the hugely-successful pantomime comes to an end.

The show has attracted people from across the country to see Anton as Buttons and the talented cast.

At the weekend, TV presenter Kate Garraway was pictured arriving with her family, including husband Derek Draper, who survived a catastrophic Covid illness and faces a long period of recovery.

The traditional panto features spectacular dance routines along with laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses.

Join Cinders as she goes from rags to riches, outwits her very ugly sisters and meets her dashing Prince Charming.

Be aware that all attendees over 18 have to provide proof of their Covid-19 status, such as proof of vaccination via the NHS app.

Orange Tree Theatre

Several performances of the theatre's Christmas show Pinocchio have been cancelled through December due to Covid, however the theatre has been taking bookings for Thursday and Friday.

Covid has also forced the temporary cancellation of the theatre's production of 'While the Sun Shines'.

Pinocchio is a re-telling of the classic tale, which has been created by the theatre's Community director, Liam Shea.

It follows the story of Hugo, who is bored, lonely and needs a friend, with the result his mum tries to help by making him his very own Pinocchio puppet.

The two are then set on an adventure to the top of a snowy mountain, out to pleasure island and into the belly of a wiggly whale!

The Orange Tree issued a statement on the cancellation of While the Sun Shines. It said: "Despite rigorous Covid safety procedures in place, we regret to say a member of the company of While the Sun Shines has tested positive and is having to isolate. We will therefore have to cancel performances on 29, 30, 31 December and 1 January.

"We realise what a disappointment this will be, but of course the safety of our audiences and our team is of the utmost priority, and we plan to resume performances as soon as possible."

  • An exhibition celebrating the impact, inspiration and legacy of the Orange Tree Theatre has opened at the Museum of Richmond.
