Ever wanted to know how you balance a chair on your chin, if you can juggle liquid, or how circus performers eat fire?

In a fun, lively and fast-paced family circus performance, find out how jugglers, acrobats and hula hoop artists use science to create their amazing acts.

This fun and hectic show for children and families stars two women scientists turned circus performers - Aoife Raleigh is an engineer, and Maria Corcoran is an environmental scientist.

Friday, February 17 – An Evening with Clinton Baptiste

As seen on Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights…The world-renowned clairvoyant, medium and psychic is back!

Clinton Baptiste is the hapless clairvoyant, medium and psychic from Peter Kay's smash hit Channel 4 TV show Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights. He returns to conjure up his extraordinary powers for a new generation.

Clinton will give readings to the audience, offering advice from beyond the grave. He will predict your future, tell you about your past and all manner of spooky stuff an' that.

Beyond The Blue, is an exciting, new Septet on the UK Jazz scene.

Taking their influences from jazz, the UK dance scene, and classical music they are creating their own unique and energized sound! Having performed at The London Jazz Festival 2023, the band will be on this year's bill at Love Supreme - but come and see them live at The Jazz Sanctuary first!

Thursday, February 16 - Dana Gillespie & The London Blues Band

Dana Gillespie made her first record in 1964 and all these years later she is still recording.

In the '70s she was the first Mary Magdalene in the West End Musical 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and also worked with David Bowie as he wrote the song 'Andy Warhol' for her and she sang on his Ziggy Stardust album.

In the '60s and '70s she made many films, but Blues music has always been her first love and she considers herself a songwriter who sings! Her musicians are known as The London Blues Band and they are considered to be the cream of the London Blues scene.

Tara Fitzgerald and Maureen Beattie star in Tom Kempinski's gripping and touching winner of the London Theatre Critics Award for Best Play.

Stephanie Abrahams (Tara Fitzgerald) is a world-renowned concert violinist at the peak of her career. But upon receiving life-changing news, she is forced to look for a new way to live.

Her composer husband sends her to psychiatrist Dr Feldmann (Maureen Beattie), but Stephanie isn't interested in offers of help. As her beloved music falls silent, Stephanie must dig deep into her past to face an unknown future.

Tom Kempinski's moving and hopeful 1980 drama has triumphed in the West End and on Broadway, and was turned into a feature film starring Julie Andrews and Alan Bates. This beautiful new production, specially adapted for the OT, is accompanied by live music.

Friday, February 17 – The Comedy Store

Soho comes to Barnes! Each performance features a compere plus three different comedians meaning there's something for everyone. Previous acts at the OSO have included: Paul Sinha, Zoe Lyons, Paul Thorne, Laura Lexx and Emmanuel Sonubi.

Inspired by the comedy clubs in New York and LA and set up in 1979, the Comedy Store began a comedy revolution and today is a recognised platform for established stand-up comedians.

Saturday, February 18 – Comedy Club for Kids

Since 2005 the Comedy Club 4 Kids has been getting the best stand-ups and sketch acts from the international circuit to do their thing for children (aged 6+) and their families… but without the rude bits! It's just like a normal comedy club, but it's on in the day, kids are allowed in, and thus there is an abnormally high chance of the entire audience claiming to be called Bob.

'Classic Gershwin' weaves the vibrant music of the ever-popular composer George Gershwin with his fascinating life story from birth in the colourful, teeming New York of 1898 to his tragically early death in 1937.

With prize-winning pianist and renowned Gershwin interpreter Viv McLean and RSC, National Theatre and TV actress Susan Porrett as narrator, this mixed-genre concert presents an intriguing, eclectic mix of Gershwin's music from the much-loved Rhapsody in Blue, I got Rhythm Variations, The Man I Love and Swanee to the rarely-played Three Preludes.

Bianca Raffaella is exhibiting as part of the gallery's Emerging Artists Programme.

As a visually impaired artist, she works with essential lines and tactile marks to describe her subjects, whether these are abstracted figures or atmospheric landscapes.

The colour pallets Raffaella chooses are comprised of subtle and faded shades, which are distinctive to her work.

Eel Pie Island Museum – Richmond Road

To mark the 35th anniversary of Black History Month in the UK, the museum is hosting a celebration of Black culture and shines a light on some of the many inspiring people of African and Afro-Caribbean heritage in Richmond, who have made the borough a richer, more vibrant place.

From jazz to reggae, this exploration of Black musicians is not simply Black history but Richmond's history. By learning about our culturally diverse past and traditionally unheard voices, we can look forward to the next exciting chapter together.
