Worried about high streets or antisocial behaviour? Time to have your say on the future of the borough
Do you have questions about the future of our high streets, new housing schemes or tackling antisocial behaviour?
Residents are to get the chance to quiz Council chiefs tomorrow – Tuesday – evening on the future of the borough and its key services.
The 'Community Conversation' gives residents an opportunity to meet Councillors and discuss the future of the borough.
The Council said it is 'working hard to make our borough a vibrant, inclusive and healthy for all to live - a place for all of us to call home, somewhere to live, work, socialise, study or simply enjoy'.
The event is designed to ensure councillors understands the priorities of residents and take on board fresh ideas.
Typically these events cover a broad range of topics, including community safety, high streets and public spaces, the local environment and sustainability, Council spending, cost of living support, and social care.
Clarendon Hall, York House, Twickenham, TW1 3AA
The event starts at 6pm with a mini-fair, where you can speak to Council officers and local partners about community safety, health and cost of living support. This part of the event will be for in person attendees only.
The main 'Conservation' element starts at 6.45pm with pre-submitted questions followed by open floors discussions.
Attendance is free, but registration is essential, as in person places are limited. Attendees who have not registered may not be admitted.
Separately, there will be a chance to join the event online and instructions on how to take part will be sent to everyone who is registered via email.
You will be asked to submit your questions when registering – please note you may be called to ask your question live during the Conversation.
