British Olympic stars to preview Tokyo 2020 Games just down the road from Twickenham!

A galaxy of former British Olympian stars including gold medal winners will appear on a panel in Teddington to discuss their own careers and the upcoming Games in Tokyo next Tuesday night (July 20).

The four panellists will be Christine Ohuruogu MBE, who has won Olympic gold, silver and bronze in the 400 metres, Roger Black MBE and Olympic and World Championship 400 meter silver medallist, Mark Hunter MBE, an Olympic gold and silver medal winning rower, and swimmer Mark Foster, who represented Britain in the Olympics and won six World Championship titles.

The Olympians will give their opinions on the delayed Tokyo Olympics , which are due to start on July 23rd, in interviews with author and former Mail on Sunday Sports Editor, Alison Kervin, as well as take part in a Q and A session with the audience at riverside restaurant in Teddington, The Wharf .

The event is organised by the community group SporTedd which was set up two years ago to support local sport-themed projects and has donated over £30,000 in grants.

If you would to attend you can join SporTedd by paying for an annual £100 subscription, which will also allow you to bring guests to events.

Previous VIP speakers have included Sir Clive Woodward, Jason Leonard, Martin Glenn, then CEO of the FA, commercial director of Wimbledon Mick Desmond, top rugby referee Wayne Barnes, former CEO of Manchester United and Chelsea Peter Kenyon and Lord Coe.
