Café Sunshine is now open Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 5.30pm, and is now taking cashless payments - café Manager Debbie and co-worker Anit are delighted with their new contactless machine - at last!

Richmond Council has appointed its first White Ribbon Champion who will work to tackle violence against women and girls in the borough.
Councillor Ben Khosa is the Councillor for St Margarets & North Twickenham and was Mayor of Richmond upon Thames from 2018-19. He has lived in Twickenham since 1985.

A Whitton-based not-for-profit has been awarded over £2,000 to help run nature-based creative activities for children and young people through Richmond council's Local Area Fund.
The Wild Mind Project aims to help improve mental health for people aged 13-25 and their parents or carers through combining nature and art therapy.

A community Centre in East Twickenham has spent lockdown transforming its outdoor space and has now unveiled a beautiful new sensory garden.
The ETNA (East Twickenham Neighbourhood Association) Community Centre is an inclusive space based on Rosslyn Road, home to lots of events and activities as well as its new sensory garden.

Signs are situated at the traffic lights by HSBC and by CTZN brew, and say the works will begin and end this Sunday, July 2021.

The Co-op and parkrun have joined forces to produce an inspirational video welcoming the nation back to the much-loved 5k events this Saturday.
The video was partly filmed along Richmond riverside and features a number of famous names, including Paul Sinton-Hewitt, who organised the first run in Bushy Park in 2004.
A new restaurant is opening up on Twickenham Green, swapping one Italian for another in the old ASK restaurant site.
A new 'Locanda Luna' shop front has been installed at 60/62 The Green, where the ASK signage used to be.
