Twickenham estate agency FSG Estate Agent has thrown its support behind this year's High Tide Festival as organisers continue their efforts to secure the event's future through an extended crowdfunding campaign.
The independent estate agent is one of the sponsors helping to support the community-led music festival, which has raised more than £17,500 through crowdfunding after almost 300 people contributed to the appeal.
Although the campaign narrowly missed its original target, organisers have been given permission to keep fundraising in a bid to safeguard High Tide for 2026 and beyond.
FSG Estate Agent founder Fran Sturla said supporting the festival was an easy decision because of its importance to the local community.
He said: "As a local business owner, I'm incredibly proud to be sponsoring High Tide Festival in Twickenham. Being part of this community means so much to me, and supporting events that bring people together is something I truly believe in.
"The festival is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything that makes our area special – from the amazing local businesses and talented performers to the sense of community that makes Twickenham such a great place to live and work.
"It's events like these that create lasting memories, strengthen local connections, and encourage people to support the businesses and organisations at the heart of our community.
"I'm delighted to play a small part in helping make High Tide Festival a success and look forward to seeing everyone come together for what I'm sure will be a fantastic celebration."
High Tide co-founder Kevin Jones thanked residents for backing the crowdfunding campaign, which remains open despite falling just short of its fundraising target.
He added: "We've had a tremendous response from the local community with more than 300 contributing to the High Tide crowdfunding campaign. And although we didn't quite reach the target, we got very close.
"And, great news! We've been allowed to keep the campaign open for donations to get us to the target. This is vital for High Tide 2026 and even more important in safeguarding the festival for future years."
High Tide is a volunteer-run festival inspired by Twickenham's rich musical heritage and the legacy of Eel Pie Island. Each year it brings emerging and established artists to venues across the town, with all performances free to attend while ensuring musicians are paid for their work.
Alongside local businesses including FSG Estate Agent, the festival is supported by High Tide Twickenham CIC, Discover Twickenham BID, Richmond Council, Arts Council England, Eel Pie Records and the Friends of Twickenham Green.
Festival organisers say anyone who has not yet donated can still support the crowdfunding campaign here.
