Darren and the team at Darren Bartlett Real Estate are looking for a Buyer Agent to join the team in Twickenham.

A full-time buyer agent helps prospective homebuyers find and purchase a property that they're happy with.

Buyer agents work hard to find options that are within homebuyers' price ranges, and have the main features that they desire.

Once a potential house has been identified, agents take homebuyers through the purchasing process.

Responsibilities:

- Educating potential homebuyers on the local housing market

- Explaining the purchasing process to homebuyers

- Making sure homebuyers are self-funded or pre-approved for a mortgage

- Talking with clients to identify the price, features, and type of house they want

- Identifying homes that meet clients' preliminary requirements

- Scheduling and attending showings of homes that clients want to look at

- Completing comparative analyses to determine estimated values of homes

- Guiding clients from the initial offer through to the final closing

- Handling price and other negotiations for clients

- Ensuring that all necessary documents are in order

- Cooperating with other professionals involved in the buying process

- Networking to connect with new potential homebuyers

Skills & Qualifications:

- Valid driver's licence

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Good interpersonal and negotiating skills

- Trustworthy and personable

- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- Demonstrable success within the property sector

- Familiarity with a CRM database
