Hanworth Villa completed a second half turnaround against Walton and Hersham to win 2-1 in the Isthmian League South Central.

The Swans took a seventh minute lead as Taurean Roberts scored from the top of the box to give them a lead at the break.

However, Jonathan Hippolyte bagged a second half brace getting the winner ten minutes from time to ensure back-to-back wins for the Villains.

The win was the first time an away side have taken all three points away from Elmsbridge Xcel Sports Hub for nine months and takes Hanworth up to 11th in the table with games in hand on almost everyone ahead of them.

It was a disruptive opening to the game as Harry Mills had to be removed after five minutes for Walton, but through this they quickly got on the board as Roberts received a pass on the edge of the area and with his first touch sent it beyond Terry Buss in the Hanworth net.

The game quietened down from this point as neither team could really get things going, but it could have been two-nil after 35 minutes when Eddie Simon and John Gilbert raced away on the counter attack but failed to convert the opening.

Simon was in again ten minutes into the second half as he raced away and dinked the keeper, but a defender raced back and managed to clear it off the line.

This missed chance was soon punished by the Villains who had improved after the break and were well worthy of their equaliser as Hippolyte went through on goal and calmly tucked it past the 'keeper and into the back of the net.

Just ten minutes after drawing level Hippolyte put them in front, getting his second by blasting a fine finish passed Harvey Sellers who couldn't get near it.

The Swans could have struck back just minutes later when Simon, who had been a thorn in Hanworth's side all evening, struck the base of the post but it deflected away to safety.

There was more late jeopardy as Walton and Hersham had a free-kick from the edge of the box in second half stoppage time but they failed to make Buss work and the Villains were able to see the game out.
