The Exchange, 75 London Road Twickenham TW1 1BE
Cinema
2 Jun 2026
Tuesday 2 June
Set in 1944 Vermiglio, a high mountain village in the Italian Alps, war looms as a distant but constant threat. The arrival of Pietro, a refugee soldier, disrupts the dynamics of the local teacher's family, changing them forever. During the four seasons marking the end of World War II, Pietro and Lucia, the eldest daughter of the village teacher, are instantly drawn to each other, leading to marriage and an unexpected fate. As the world emerges from tragedy, the family will face its own.
70 non-member tickets are available to purchase for this screening. Non-member tickets are £5 (full-time students £3) and can be purchased in advance from The Exchange's Box Office: online at http://exchangetwickenham.co.uk/events, by telephone 020 8240 2399 or in person. Non-member tickets have sold out for all but one screening this season, so early pre-booking via The Exchange is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
