Christmas Light Up Events in Twickenham

Twickenham's Christmas Lights will be turned on for all to see on Friday 21st November.

Come along and join in the fun!

The first light up event will be on Twickenham Green with the Christmas tree being turned on at 5.00pm by her Worship the Mayor of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Councillor Penny Frost, preceded from 4.30pm by carols sung by Twickenham Primary Academy and from the choir of Twickenham Green Baptist Church.

The main event on King Street starting from 3.00pm, with Riverside Radio broadcasting live and various musical entertainment including a young band from Powerjam Band ProjectStep on Stage children's choir, Richmond Brass Band and the 606 Gospel Group till 7pm with the tree and lights across Twickenham being turned on at 6.00pm by The Deputy Mayor of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Councillor Clare Vollum.

FREE Face Painting, sponsored by Discover Twickenham, will be available at Patch, 42 York Street from 3.30pm till 6.30pm. Patch will also have it's seasonal Makers Market with locally-made Christmas gifts – starting from 2pm-8pm.

Twickenham's Christmas Lights and events are organised by Discover Twickenham on behalf of Twickenham businesses.
