Our after-school clubs for 8 to 12 year olds start back at Patch on York Street on Monday 7 September, and any child is welcome to try their first session free before joining.

There are 4 clubs to choose from, and I run them all myself.

Rise to Lead is our public speaking and leadership club. Children work in small teams on a weekly challenge, present to each other, and end the term by presenting to their parents. Saturdays, 2 to 3pm (the Monday class is already full this term).

The Detective Club is for the child who wants to know how to think, not what to think. Each week the teams open a sealed case file and crack it with evidence and proof, which is critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving taught as a game. At the end of term they build their own mystery for the parents to solve. Mondays, 5:30 to 6:30pm.

The Insiders Club is about AI, algorithms and growing up online: how AI really works, how social media decides what they watch next, why screen time never stops at one more video, and how to spot a fake. The children build simple AIs of their own so they understand what is underneath. Thursdays, 5:30 to 6:30pm.

Young Founders House is our business and money club. Children build a product, sell it at the monthly Young Founders Market, and decide what to do with the profit. Saturdays, 3:15 to 4:15pm (the Thursday class is already full this term).

Groups are kept small so every child is heard and known. Membership is £65 a month for one club, with a lower rate per club for two or more, and you can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice. The autumn term runs from Monday 7 September to Monday 14 December, following the Richmond school calendar, with no clubs over half term (26 to 30 October).

One parent wrote: "My daughter was very nervous about speaking in front of others, even in a small group. Since joining the club, I've noticed such a lovely change in her. She is speaking more clearly, joining in more, and she seems much more comfortable sharing her ideas."
