The aim is to enhance awareness and appreciation of female composers and we're doing the concert on International Women's Day. We have two international superstars in the event, talking about their inspiration and we're playing their music. It's part of a 3 part project, the other parts are a conference for students on female composers delivered by Marina Solarek, and a Festival of concerts by seven music groups in the borough all featuring pieces by women.
