We are talking '5' star excellence, This special edition of Your Song celebrates the music / songs of both Elton John and Billy Joel, performed by two award winning artists.
John Reilly (award winning singer song writer) and Lewis Nitikman (award winning musical director / arranger / composer)
This is not a tribute show but a celebration of timeless songs, performed from the heart with passion and musical excellence. The show has received much critical acclaim.
John Reilly was born in Liverpool. He won the British and International Song award. He toured Canada and the US, where many of his recordings became hit singles. He opened in concert for major stars, including Bryan Adams, Procal Harum, and Ray Charles. His songs were played in movies, and TV shows. John returned to the UK where he had a 2500-seater concert sell out and toured with Ray Davis (Kinks) finishing with a sold-out concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
Lewis Nitikman from Vancouver, Canada, was signed by Virgin Records. He released, produced and wrote 3 Canadian Gold winning albums. His album 'Diamond in the Rough' spawned 3 hit singles. "Where Is Love" was the 14th most played song in Canada, and the ballad "I Wish There Was A Way" was number 6 in the charts for 10 weeks. His album on Virgin records was inducted into the Canadian museum of music.
Lewis has performed and recorded with some of the best songwriters in LA, Nashville and Toronto. He has worked with and has been commissioned by The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. He has recorded and produced various national and regional commercials, including an award winning commercial.
Both John and Lewis are also successful songwriters in their own right with their songs being played on BBC radio and on the national playlist.
