SEN Tutor - 1:1 Bespoke Education

Location: Hounslow Contract Type: Part-time Salary: 25 minimum per hour

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide personalised, 1:1 education to young people who are currently not attending school.

As an SEN Tutor, you will design and deliver tailored learning programmes that bridge gaps in education, build confidence, and inspire a love for learning. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher who is looking to move away from a traditional classroom setting and make a meaningful difference through individualised, engaging lessons.

Many of the pupils you will work with may have been out of education for some time and require additional support to rebuild their confidence and routine. Your role will be pivotal in helping them re-engage with learning and develop both academically and emotionally.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan creative, engaging lessons
  • 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
  • Safeguarding training issued within the last year
