Hit Netflix show Bridgerton filmed here in Twickenham!

By The Editor 13th Aug 2021

Period drama Bridgerton has taken Netflix by storm in recent weeks.

The show has been streamed more than 60 million times since arriving on Netflix less than a month ago on Christmas Day.

The show follows the wealthy Bridgerton family in the early 1800s.

But did you know that some of the scenes were filmed right on our doorstep?

Without giving away any spoilers, eagle-eyed viewers may spot St Mary's Church at the bottom of Church Street.

In the drama it's called St George's Church.

A whole host of locations around London were used for the show.

Whether that was Syon House in Brentford, boxing scenes at the Normansfield Theatre in Teddington or the many various parks we have in the capital.
