A 20-year-old entrepreneur is making his mark on Twickenham's café scene after building an independent brunch spot.

Located at 51 King Street, Twisted Ivy has become a popular amongst locals looking for all-day brunch, specialty coffee and a relaxed place to meet friends and family.

The independent café serves a wide-ranging brunch menu alongside fresh coffee, smoothies, juices and other café favourites, with the aim of creating a welcoming local spot in the heart of Twickenham.

Owner Sam told Nub News: "Running a café at 20 was a big challenge, but it was something I really wanted to do.

"Twickenham has such a strong local community and I wanted to create somewhere that people would genuinely enjoy coming back to."

Since running the business, Sam has focused on developing the menu, improving the customer experience and building Twisted Ivy into a recognisable local café.

Twisted Ivy is open every day from 8am until 4:30pm, making it a destination for everything from morning coffee and breakfast through to a full brunch or lunch.

The café has also built a strong online presence and continues to develop new dishes, offers and events for its customers.
