Join families from across the area this coming Bank Holiday for the Rotary Fair on Twickenham Green.
The event will offer arts, crafts, plants, fun, music, children's games, food and drink while bringing together more than 50 charities and voluntary groups who will be celebrating their work and helping to raise funds.
The new Mayor of Richmond, Cllr Suzette Nicholson, will be in attendance, while there is a fabulous line-up of local creative and musical talent.
The bill includes the Richmond Brass Band, the London Ukulele Band, the local Rock Pop and Gospel Choir, members of Folk on the Green will perform, as will youngster from Dansicality.
To close the afternoon, visitors will be treated to performances by the Ukrainian Dancers and the Ukrainian Singers from the local Ukraine Social Group who have become an important part of the local community..
The many food outlets include Pick's Organic Burgers, as well as Caribbean street food from the Happy Hill Kitchen, freshly cooked pizzas, waffles, Turkish food, ice cream, sandwiches and cakes.
The Rotary Fair continues the tradition of the HANDS Charities Fair, which has run every spring bank holiday from 1981 until recently.
This year, founder Maureen Payan and the Trustees of HANDS relinquished their careful management of the fair and handed it over to Rotary to continue and preserve this much-loved traditional event.
