England's Lionesses took part in their final training session this morning at their Teddington HQ ahead of tomorrow night's Wembley thriller against world champions USA.

Sarina Wiegman's side will take to the field under the Wembley Arch for the first time since they were crowned European champions back in July after defeating Germany in extra time thanks to Chloe Kelly's heroics.

Tomorrow's opponents are known all too well by many of the England side who will still be carrying ill-fated memories of their 2-1 defeat to the USA back in 2019 during the World Cup semi-final.

However, England will head into tomorrow night's fixture bullish as European Champions and with a clear winning mentality now installed.

Wiegman put the Lionesses through their paces this morning as they returned to the Lensbury, Teddington's luxury riverside resort that played host to the squad during their European camp over the summer.

Fran Kirby and Kelly are back in the fold after missing last month's final World Cup qualifier through injury, while there are first senior call-ups for West Ham United's Lucy Parker and Jessica Park who is on loan at Everton.

Lioness captain, Leah Williamson, left the England camp yesterday after her injury sustained in training and has returned to Arsenal for her rehabilitation.

Despite the fact England will be determined to send an early warning to the USA and their other rivals ahead of next year's World Cup tomorrow night, prior to kick off, the Lionesses will stand in solidarity with the world champions to show support after an inquiry uncovered "systemic" abuse and misconduct in the America's National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).

The findings from an independent investigation into the NSWL were released earlier this week.

England vs USA will kick off tomorrow evening at 8pm with the match available to watch live on ITV.
