Father appeals for witnesses of son's bike stolen in Twickenham

By The Editor 13th Aug 2021

A father whose son's bike was stolen from outside David Lloyd in Twickenham is appealing for anyone who saw the incident to come forward.

The lock on the Trek Marlin 4 bike was forcibly removed at 8.20pm from outside the health club on Staines Road on Sunday.

The bike is black with red writing on the frame.

Hampton resident SJ Scott said: "Its such a shame that bike thefts are so out of control.

"My son uses it to get to college and I can't see why anyone else would want it as it isn't particularly new!

"If anyone saw anything or has been offered a Black Trek Marlin 5 with Red writing do please let us know.

"It's a long shot and we know that bikes get stolen in this area every hour of the day but we would love for this person to be caught."
