There was a large emergency service response yesterday in Twickenham but sadly a person died at a home address.

The air ambulance helicopter was seen landing on Twickenham Green shortly after noon on Thursday (January 21).

At least three police cars and numerous ambulance vehicles were also called to Hampton Road.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.41pm yesterday to reports of a person unwell at a residential address in Hampton Road, Twickenham.

"We sent two ambulance crews, two medics in cars, an incident response officer and a hazardous area response team. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.

"Sadly, despite the best efforts of medics, a person died at the scene."
