Home improvement giant plans trade arm within new Aldi in Hanworth
By Cesar Medina 9th Aug 2026
A tools and material supplier could be bringing a new store to the same site as the planned Aldi in Hanworth.
The largest home improvement chain in the UK, B&Q, has submitted plans to install signs for a new branch.
B&Q intend to open a TradePoint site within the planned Aldi store, which is the brand's trade arm of the business.
The membership only service provides specialised tools and materials to electricians, plasterers, plumbers and other maintenance professionals.
The former Homebase store on Twickenham Road was confirmed to house Aldi after plans were approved in December 2025 and now possibly B&Q TradePoint.
Homebase shut its door in March 2025 after the company went into in administration in November 2024.
