Hospital Bridge Road in Whitton is currently closed to southbound traffic to allow for urgent engineering works by Thames Water.

The works, which are taking place near No. 23 Hospital Bridge Road, began Monday, 7 July and are expected to continue until Tuesday 9 July.

A local diversion route has been put in place to help manage traffic while repairs are underway.

For any enquiries about the works, Thames Water can be contacted on 0800 316 9800.

This closure follows earlier disruption in the area back in March, when Cadent Gas conducted emergency repairs to fix a major leak near the railway bridge on the same stretch of road.
