Wellesley Road Play Area is getting new play equipment installed.

The installation is part of the Richmond Council's 'continued commitment to improve our parks and open spaces'.

The new play equipment includes a small square trampoline, a new swing, play panels and a climbing net.

It is understood that the installation will be completed next week.

A council spokesperson told Nub News: "It is currently still fenced off as there are a few minor alterations needed following the post-installation inspection.

"This will happen next week."
