A group exhibition featuring original and limited edition artworks by artists from across Richmond upon Thames is showing at Premier House in Twickenham.

Running from until 20 February, the exhibition brings together a wide range of local creative talent, including paintings, drawings, printmaking, sculpture and photography.

The show has been organised by Arts Richmond, an independent charity supporting drama, literature, music and visual arts across the borough.

The charity has been given free use of the office space through The Artists Window, allowing the exhibition to take place in a prominent business setting.

Curated by local artist Catherine Sweet, founder of the BobCat Gallery, all works on display will be available for purchase, with proceeds helping to fund Arts Richmond's ongoing work in the community.

Sweet said: "It's a pleasure to be able to show local artists' work and support Arts Richmond in this way, with the generous support of local landlords who value arts and culture. The exhibition includes a huge variety of local talent.

"It's also a great opportunity to highlight how important art can be in a workspace.

"Thoughtfully chosen artwork can help create a welcoming environment, improve wellbeing, reduce stress and even boost creativity and productivity."

The exhibition will be available to view by appointment only, Monday to Friday.

A private view, festive celebration and curator's tour took place yesterday (Monday, 22 December).

Sweet will also host a free guided tour for local business owners on Monday, 12 January, offering advice on enhancing workspaces with original art and information about affordable art rental options available locally.
