Twickenham's popular Italian restaurant, Locanda Luna is reopening today after a three-month closure due to a fire.

They will be reopening from 4pm today (24 November), serving pizza and from 12pm tomorrow they will serve their whole menu.

The fire, which took place on 23 August 2023 caused damage to part of the internal ducting.

At the time, a representative from the London Fire Brigade said: "Part of Internal ducting running through a building, made up of a restaurant and flats, was damaged by fire. Part of a roof was also damaged. There were no reports of any injuries."

Restaurant manager, Magdalena Dziegiel said: "I am happy to inform, that after three difficult months, we are reopening Locanda Luna today afternoon to celebrate the Christmas event with the local community.

"We would like to thank everyone for their help and support during that time.

"For those who haven't booked their Christmas Party yet, we still have plenty of availability."
