Major chicken shop chain submits plans for signage in Twickenham
By Cesar Medina 22nd Feb 2026
A chicken shop franchise in Twickenham has submitted plans to install new signs at a former bank.
Previously approved proposals confirmed that a restaurant had been granted permission to take over the former HSBC branch on London Road.
Now, Flavours of Opulence has submitted further plans to install low-level extraction at the rear of 4 London Road, along with designs for a new shopfront.
The proposals reveal that the chicken shop would operate as Pepe's Piri Piri — a flame-grilled chicken chain with more than 200 locations across the UK.
Designs for the new shopfront include Pepe's signature red and burgundy branding, featuring its slogan and website.
The proposed frontage would also include a trough light, a non-illuminated logo and a projecting sign.
The application for the new signage has yet to be decided. To read the full application, click here.
