McDonald's seeks approval for 24-hour operation at Hanworth branch

Fast food giant McDonald's has submitted an application to extend operating hours at its Hanworth branch, allowing it to remain open 24 hours a day.
Currently, the Twickenham Road location operates daily from 5am to 2am.
The proposed changes would permit round-the-clock service, with late-night refreshment available between 11pm and 5am and the premises open 24/7.
McDonald's states that it has measures in place to comply with licensing objectives and ensure the safety of both staff and the local community.
In its premise licensing application McDonald's said: "This restaurant understands that in extending our opening hours we have a duty to the local community and that we continue to protect our staff and customers from danger and harm.
"We believe that the systems we have in place are robust, thorough and will, as far as reasonably practicable, secure the promotion of the four licensing objectives."
Residents have until Thursday, 3 April 2025 to make representations.
