The Megan's café chain, which is popular with lovers of dogs – and cocktails, is recruiting in Richmond.

The company is finally set to open its doors after months of delays, which has disappointed fans of the chain.

The group clearly believes its offer of food, drink and a dog friendly setting will work well in the borough, for it is also taking over the former NatWest bank in Twickenham.

The company is recruiting for all positions front of house and back of house, including bar workers and baristas, waiters, team leaders and chefs.

The menu and interiors are loosely Mediterranean, while outlets are open for brunch, lunch, dinner & cocktails all day every day.

A spokesman said: "Megan's at the Old Town Hall. Located at 13 Hill St, Richmond TW9 1SX, this spot is the perfect addition to the lovely community of Richmond.

"Having started on the Kings Road in 2002, we have been lucky enough to join lots of lovely new neighbourhoods across London and beyond.

"Having a riverside home is a dream come true for us & we can't wait to become part of the community.

"Richmond is a location that holds its charm throughout the seasons and we are so looking forward to welcoming guests for cocktails & catch ups in summer, through to cosy evenings & mulled wine in winter."
