A road closure and local diversion route is in place following a high pressure water mains burst at 118 Nelson Road in Twickenham.

Richmond Council have released a statement on X (formerly known as Twitter), which says: "A high pressure water mains burst at 118 Nelson Rd, Twickenham is being attended to by Thames Water.

"The road is currently closed and a local diversion route is in place.

"We are liaising with Thames Water to ensure that these works are completed as quickly as possible."
