Deer Park School says it is "so excited" about moving to new premises in East Twickenham next month.

The primary school will occupy the first and second floors above the new Lidl supermarket.

"We are so excited to be so close to the completion of the permanent home for Deer Park School at 389-391 Richmond Road," the school said in a post on its blog on Thursday, March 11.

"This week's site visit, captured here in this video montage, shows there is still some work to be done before we at Bellevue Place Education Trust take control in the next 7-10 days, but that many features of the school are complete.

"Once the trust and Deer Park School take control of the site we will be using the remainder of the spring term and the Easter break to install all the furniture, fittings and finally school teaching equipment into the state of the art building, ready for our pupils to start on site on April 22!
