A salon that opened in Twickenham in June is now offering free wash and blow drys to over 65s from Whitton every Thursday in July as a way to give back to the community.

The salon, Tease Color Hair Design, opened at 304 Nelson road in Whitton two weeks ago.

Its owners say they have had a successful first few weeks and now want to give back to the community and do something to support over 65s from the area.

Appointments are recommended!

Co-Owner Tony Galletly, who owns the salon with his partner Jan Zoltowski, said: "The first week was busy with the free blow dry offer as well as pleased customers who booked for other services.

"The second week was also good as locals are starting to hear about and see the salon. It's only been two weeks since we opened and are seeing a week-on-week increase!

"So now we have decided to give something to the older age group who have supported the country all their lives, and some who may be struggling.

"It's only right that we look after these people, so our offer is only targeted at anyone over 65 years old.

"They can come every week if they wish for the next month and receive a free wash and blow dry.

"They do not have to have anything else done at the salon to take up this offer, only their time."

The salon is also offering 25% off all services (to all ages) with stylist Ken.
