The organisers of High Tide Festival 2025 have launched a crowdfunder to help support the much-loved, free-to-attend event in Twickenham.

This year's High Tide is set to be the biggest yet, featuring its largest ever line-up, with more than 50 acts expected to perform.

Co-founder of the festival, Kevin, said: "High Tide is a community-led festival that aims to reignite the spirit of Eel Pie Island in its heyday here in the heart of Twickenham.

"We seek out and showcase a diverse selection of the best young and established bands and musicians across 16 stages.

"And, while all the music is free to watch, we make sure that the artists get a fair reward for the enjoyment they bring to our community over the weekend."

The festival is organised through a collaboration between High Tide Twickenham CIC, Discover Twickenham BID, Richmond Council, The Friends of Twickenham Green, and a wide network of local businesses.

"We do not seek large corporate sponsors," the co-founder added, "preferring to maintain the independence and free spirit that represents and benefits Twickenham."

Taking place from around 12:30pm to 8pm on Sunday, 27 July 2025, the festival will transform various local locations—including Arragon Road, Twickenham Green, Orleans Gardens, and the Church Lane car park—into open-air stages.

Intimate performances will also be hosted in popular local venues such as The Eel Pie, The Cabbage Patch, The Royal Oak, The Fox, The Barmy Arms, Shack 68, The Twickenham Club, The Lion and Rose, Orleans House Gallery, and Brewery Market.

Kevin continued: "High Tide is supported by local businesses and Richmond Council. This valuable support means we can start planning the festival and booking bands and musicians."

"High Tide has also always been very generously supported by the local community through crowdfunding. We need that support as much as ever if we are to make High Tide the amazing day it has become."

"Costs are ever-increasing and we remain committed to paying artists a fair rate."

Launched six days ago, the crowdfunder has already received 37 donations, raising £1,761 at the time of writing.

High Tide aims to raise £17,500 over the next 36 days to support the 2025 festival.
