The desperately worried parents of a missing 14-year-old teenager from Twickenham have appealed for help in tracing her.

The youngster, who was reported missing on Thursday, has been named as Clementine Reardon.

Her parents, Lysta and Graeme, have issued appeals for help via Facebook, including support in distributing posters.

Lysta wrote: "Please help find our beautiful daughter."

She thanked people for their support, adding: "It means so much to us. Our appeal for Clemmie's return has gone viral.

"We have been inundated with messages and phone calls and I'm sorry I haven't got back to you but we appreciate all your help."

Father, Graeme, said: "Clementine is still missing. Please keep the spotlight turned on until we get her home safely. We are eternally grateful for everyone's help."

The couple, who run the Studio 17 pilates and fitness studios in Richmond and Chiswick, have created a poster that they hope local shops and others will put in their windows.

Detectives have been following a number of enquiries and had suspected she might be in the company of friends, potentially in the Acton or Ladbroke Grove areas. However at this time there has been no trace of her.

Details of the search for Clementine have been shared thousands of times across social media with a number of well-known names, including Georgia Tennant, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and James O'Brien, sharing their concern for Clementine and asking followers for their help.

The police stressed there is no evidence to suggest that the teenager has come to any harm.

However, a spokesman said: "Her disappearance is very much out of character and concern for her welfare is growing."

The police added: "It is unknown where she might have gone or whether she may have travelled outside of London. She is last thought to have been wearing a white t-shirt with blue Nike tracksuit bottoms, however may have changed clothes since then. Clementine's family urge her to contact them and let them know she is safe."

Any information as to her whereabouts can be given by calling 101 ref 22MIS013222. Any immediate sightings should be reported via 999.
