A horse riding school just down the road in Teddington that made headlines for raising £1m to remain open last year featured on BBC Countryfile on Sunday.

Park Lane Stables won the hearts of the nation with its amazing animals and the staff's passion in working with people with disabilities.

On Twitter the stables said: "Countryfile will be telling the story of the magic our ponies create, enhancing the lives of people in London.

"Tune in to get a better idea of what happens here & how we access the countryside as part of our activities."

In March, BBC Breakfast featured the stables as they re-opened to the public.
