Plan ahead: road closures for upcoming Christmas festivities

A series of road closures across Richmond Borough has been announced for the upcoming Christmas events.

Light switch on events are taking place throughout the area over the coming days, with Twickenham's taking place on Friday 22 November.

The following closures will be in place over the coming weeks:

Be Festive Richmond Christmas Light Switch On

Thursday 21 November 2024

George Street closed 4 to 7pm

Discover Twickenham Light Switch On

Friday 22 November 2024

Water Lane closed 10am to 10pm

Teddington Christmas Lights Up

Thursday 28 November 2024

  • Church Road closed 3 to 9pm
  • Broad Street closed 4.30 to 5pm
  • Teddington High Street closed 5 to 9pm
  • Station Road closed 5 to 7pm

Hampton Hill Christmas Parade

Friday 29 November 2024

Hampton Hill High Street closed 5.30 to 8.30pm

Hampton Village Christmas Parade

Sunday 1 December 2024

Ashley Road, Station Road, Station Approach, Tudor Road, Ormond Avenue and Wensleydale Road closed 3.30 to 8pm

Light Up Whitton Christmas Market

Sunday 1 December 2024

Whitton High Street closed 10am to 8pm

Kew Sparkle

Friday 6 December 2024

Station Parade and Station Approach closed 1 to 10.30pm
