Find the list of roadworks and road closures Richmond Council has lined up in around Twickenham this week.

TfL Works

A316 London Road roundabout, Twickenham Lane closures will be in place at this location for TFL highways improvement works. Construction activities are expected to start on 21st October 2024. Works will take place Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-1pm.

Cole Park Road, Twickenham will be closed at the Junction with Chertsey Road for TFL A316 Roundabout Works (London Road) commencing on 21/10/2024 to 31/07/2025. Contact: 0343 222 1234.

Emergency Works

Nelson Road, Twickenham is closed outside 276 for Thames Water to repair to a collapsed sewer in the carriageway. Estimated completion date 13/03/2025. Contact: Thames Water 0800 316 9800.

Planned Works

Oldfield Road, Hampton will be closed Oldfield Road Outside 3 To 7 for Highway Improvement Works on 02/03/2025 and 09/03/2025 only. Contact: FM Conways 01732 600 771.

Events

Allianz Stadium, Twickenham

England vs Italy, Sunday, 9 March 2025. 3pm KO, estimated crowd 82,000.

The following roads will be closed for approximately two hours before kick-off and after the final whistle:

  • Rugby Road - full closure
  • London Road - partial closure
  • Whitton Road - partial closure
