TfL Works

Cole Park Road, Twickenham will be closed at the Junction with Chertsey Road for TfL A316 Roundabout Works (London Road). Estimated completion date 31/07/2025. Contact: TfL 0343 222 1234 or visit TfL's help website.

A316 London Road roundabout, Twickenham Lane closures are in place at this location for TfL highways improvement works. Works will take place Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-1pm. Estimated completion date 31/07/2025.

As part of the A316 London Road roundabout upgrade works, London Road, Twickenham will be fully closed at both junctions with the A316 /London Road Roundabout commencing 05/04/2025 to 17/04/2025 to coincide with the Easter holidays.

Planned Works

Nightingale Road, Hampton will be closed Outside 47 for Thames Water utility works commencing on 14/04/2025 to 17/04/2025. Contact: Thames Water 0800 316 9800.

Percy Road, Hampton multi-way temporary traffic signals Junction of Cambridge Road for Thames Water utility works on 18/04/2025. Contact: Thames Water 0800 316 9800.

Wellesley Road, Twickenham will be closed Strawberry Hill Level Crossing for Network Rail utility works, on 18/04/2025. NIGHT WORKS. Contact: Network Rail 07920 856 274

Events

Allianz Stadium, Twickenham - Women's Six Nations: England vs France 26/04/2025. Estimated crowd 50,000. 

The following roads will be closed for approximately two hours before kick-off and after the final whistle: 

  • Rugby Road - full closure 
  • London Road - partial closure 
  • Whitton Road - partial closure 

St George's Day - High Street, Whitton will be closed from the junction of Nelson Road to Constance Road/Bridgeway on 27 April at 8.00am until 8.00pm
