Roger McGough will host an evening of poetry in Twickenham next month in the culmination of Arts Richmond's 'Identity' Poetry Competition held earlier this year.
Shortlisted poems will be performed at The Exchange in Twickenham on Saturday September 4 and there will be an awards ceremony hosted by McGough.
McGough is an award-winning poet, playwright, broadcaster and children's author from Liverpool, and is known as one of the 'Liverpool Poets'.
The Roger McGough poetry prize is a national poetry competition which welcomed submissions inspired by this year's theme of identity.
Run by Arts Richmond, the competition was judged by McGough back in March at the ETNA Community Centre.
A copy of the Anthology titled 'Identity' will be available to purchase.
