Police and firefighters respond to major collision on residential Twickenham road

Emergency services dealt with a car crash on a residential road in Twickenham which saw one car go up in flames

In the early hours yesterday (17 December) two cars collided in a major collision on Hospital Bridge Road, Twickenham.

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) say one fire engine from Twickenham Fire Station attended the scene and dealt with the blaze, making the scene safe.

Meanwhile, the Met Police has told Nub News that "enquiries are ongoing" for those involved in the crash.

The Met Police said: "On the 17th December 2024 at 2:23am, police were called to a road traffic collision on Hospital Bridge Road, Twickenham. 

"Road closures were put in place and have now been reopened. Enquiries are ongoing."
