A festive dog show saw more than 30 pups dressed up in their finery for a return of the annual Diamond Jubilee Gardens event.

These much-loved dogs and their owners padded down to the show last weekend, organised by the Twickenham Riverside Trust.

Attendees had the privilege of seeing the pampered pooches in their finest outfits as they strutted their stuff before the judges.

Categories ranged from 'Best puppy under 7 months' to 'Best veteran', while there were also awards for the best child and teen handlers.

Some of the wackier categories included the 'waggiest tail' and the 'best dressed'.

The show also included the heartwarming 'best rescue' categories which were split by age for dogs under and above 7 years old.

Events on the Diamond Jubilee Gardens have been curtailed during the pandemic, however the Trustees say they hope to return to normal.

The future of the Gardens is currently up in the air as the Council and the Trust clash over plans to redevelop the Riverside.
